This Privacy Policy explains how Momento ("Momento", "we", "us", or "the App") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Momento countdown tracker and widget app.
Information We Collect
Momento is designed to work without creating an account. We collect only the information needed to provide core functionality.
- Countdown data you create (titles, dates, colors, notes)
- Device identifiers used by RevenueCat for purchase verification
- Anonymous usage analytics events (e.g., screen views, feature interactions) via PostHog
Countdown data is stored locally on your device and in the app group container to support widgets. We do not collect names, addresses, or other personal profile information.
We use PostHog only for in-app product analytics and do not use cross‑site tracking.
In-App Purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple and RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your payment details. RevenueCat may process purchase and device information to validate entitlements.
How We Use Information
- Provide and improve app features
- Sync your countdowns to widgets on your device
- Verify and restore purchases
Momento does not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
Third-Party Services
We use third-party services for app functionality:
- Apple App Store for in-app purchases
- RevenueCat for purchase verification and entitlement management
- PostHog for anonymous product analytics
Data Storage and Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information collected through the App. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
